Gratitude Weekend

As we approach the end of our Thanksgiving (or as I would like to rename it, “Gratitude Weekend”) here in Canada one has to ask why we have only one weekend to set aside to be thankful for all that we have.

You see gratitude is the basis of living in the now, and the now is the only time that even exists and that we can control, as yesterday was a past now and tomorrow is a future now.

My tip is to appreciate all that you have today and everyday:

Start a gratitude journal and write down 5 things that you are truly grateful for everyday.
Really FEEL why you are grateful and truly appreciate what they bring to your life.
Try and change these up every single day.

Bonus: Add 1 item a day that you Love about yourself as this will remind you of how much you are grateful for you.

Being present with who you are and everything around you puts you in a state of receiving even more.
